Cornelia de Lange syndrome (CdLs) is a complex and rare disease, with only 1 on 30.000 people being afflicted with the disease.
The Dutch Cornelia de Lange syndrome founding was looking for a way to explain what this disease meant, especially when a newborn has been diagnosed. So the idea came for a character, which would show and tell what CdLs would mean.
